Teaching “Hold” Command.

At a first glance, the command "More" and "Hold" are very similar. However, I highly recommend to master both of these commands. This is the next level of understanding of the horse what you want from it. For example, if the horse stands and keeps his leg up, it can confuse the command "More" (what “More”? - To stand or to hold the leg up?), But for advanced and intelligent horses of course anything is possible. Again, it depends on you and your direction of attention. But this is their area of telepathy - the horse would just guess what you want based on your attention. Therefore, in this situation, the command "Hold" directed with an emphasis on a leg (for example) will be more easy to understand. Use this command to the extension of the exercise - while standing, on the move, at different paces and so on.

For example, "Hold" = neck leg head hind legs forelegs etc.

I think even the tail can be trained to “Hold” :-)) And using "More" you are just asking to continue the movement or repeat the entire "complex". For example, "More" to move in a collected trot, and correcting the head position with a command “Hold” adjusting if necessary the position of head of a horse team "Hold." These small tricks are a great help for the horse to understand what is that you are asking for.
